Q.     What does it cost?
          A.     $40.00 per 1/2 hour private lesson

Q.     What type of clothing is required?
          A.     A helmet, long pants, and hard soled boots
with a heel to start.  After a few lessons you may want to
purchase riding pants, gloves, and boots.

Q.     What type of helmet do I need?
          A.     A riding safety helmet (Troxel, International or similar
brands).  These can be purchased at Lakeside,
                   Northville, or Scott Colburne Saddleries.

Q.     Do I need to own a horse to take lessons?
          A.     You do not need to own your own horse to take riding
lessons.  We have several lesson horses, from beginner
                    to advanced.

Q.     How long does the typical lesson take?
          A.     You should plan on being at the barn for approximately 1
hour.  Actual riding time is 1/2 hour.  But your lesson
includes grooming and tacking up your horse prior to the
lesson and putting the horse away after the lesson.

Q.     I want to get involved with horses but am not sure if
I am ready to ride, what else can I do?
         A.     We give driving lessons in addition to riding lessons.
Driving is both fun and challenging.
